edit/organize/re-edit a 151-scene movie script
I have created over the past few years, a feature length film script that discusses how the church attacked the race, religion and name of the person whom we call "Jesus." (His real name is “Y’shua”). There is a 3-D animation team in India waiting to animate the 64 characters with speaking parts in 151 scenes. To give you a quick flavor, there is a scene where someone is trying to identify Y’shua in a crowd and all he has to go on are the two most famous pictures we have today in the 20th century, “The Sacred Heart of Jesus," and “Head of Christ." He accidentally walks up to Y’shua, asking Him if he knows who this person is in the pictures Y’shua does not realize that these are pictures reportedly to be of Him. The person in these two pictures appears to be a foreigner. Y’shua thinks the man with the pictures is from Immigration, trying to deport the European-looking foreigner in the picture. That's an example of how Y’shua is depicted in today's churches as racially looking like a northern European rather than a Mediterranean. The problem with this script is that it's so complicated and it's hard to know what the runtime would be. It's hard to evaluate whether the set-ups for the jokes are too lengthy for the payoff. It's hard to know when the pacing of the film lags. It's hard to know when I have taken too much for granted in terms of the audience’s historical understanding – – and so it's hard for me to know whether I need to explain more or explain less. So I need organizational help, as a minimum. I need someone who has an eye for comedy. I need someone who is not put off by the explorations of racism, misogyny, and blasphemy that the film delves into in depth. I need someone who can tolerate my long-winded background explanations of my motivations behind the scenes so that you can understand what my intent is. I know that I'm asking a lot.

Little Mikey
I have a feature-length screenplay that requires tightening and sharpening to better fit a conventional three-act film structure. The current draft clocks in at 122 pages but needs condensing to around 40 pages to align with typical runtimes and narrative pacing. Some reworking of story elements and character arcs will be necessary to maintain plot integrity while streamlining to the essential beats. Dialogue passes and trims, combining or removing scenes, and elevating narrative tension throughout will all be part of the editing approach. A keen understanding of script formatting, the storytelling principles of setup, confrontation and resolution, and the ability to identify superfluous material for removal are essential. The successful bidder will work collaboratively to help refine the script's existing stronger elements while frank but constructive feedback aids in bringing the draft to a polished, concise yet compelling 40-page draft on deadline. Creativity, editorial skills, and collaborative working style will be highly valued in this project.

The translation must be done by a qualified translator fluent in both English and Italian, ensuring cultural accuracy and linguistic precision.
